Annoucements/ reminders
Students please remember that you are responsible for buying your own sticks and mallets this school year. Please purchase the following that relates to your instrument. You may purchase at either Scott's Drum Center or Lafayette Music. Both are located on Johnston Street off of University.
Snares: Ralph Hardimon (wooden tips)
Tenors: Vic Firth Corpsmaster Scott Johnson "vega" tenor swizzle sticks
Basses: Vic Firth MBH 1 (first bass) MBH 2 (second bass) MBH 3 (third bass) MBH4 (fourth bass)
Vibraphone and marimba: IP 2007 (red Vibraphone mallets)
Xylophone: Student has purchased these mallets all ready
Aux: All students playing accessories must have a black hand or bath towel. Students playing rhythm need to buy a decent pair of drumsticks. 2B sticks are recommended. Information about students playing suspended cymbal will be available soon.
